Our Wheeled Excavator Operator training course has been designed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained to safely undertake work activities that involve the operation of a Wheeled Excavator.

The goal of this course is to help you understand what a Wheeled Excavator Operator responsibilities are and to help you understand how to manage those responsibilities to protect your health and safety and the health and safety of your co-workers.

This Wheeled Excavator Operator course will also establish an understanding of the statutory requirements of the federal COHS, Provincial and Territorial OH&S legislations.

We will achieve this through discussion, by participating in skills practice and operator performance evaluation.

This course will provide the participant with the necessary knowledge regarding;

• • Uses of a Wheeled Excavator.

• • Identify the Components, Controls and Safety Equipment on a Typical Wheeled Excavator.

• • Explain Safety Rules for Operating a Wheeled Excavator.

• • Perform Pre-start Inspection and Maintenance Procedures.

• • Start Up, Warm Up, and Shut Down a Wheeled Excavator.

• • Perform Basic Manoeuvres with a Wheeled Excavator.

• • Refuelling Considerations.
